Really? So it took some fella to plant a cross on this land to dedicate it to God despite the fact that as far as the "believers" are concerned, this land was God's creation!! So if that cross had not ben planted, this land would have languished, or maybe Satan could have come along and taken over? Wait, isn't that what happened anyway? Katrina happened because America has no morals, and most Americans are sinners?

And yet the Assembly blurs that history: "We acknowledge that the Bible is itself the government of the People, by the People, and for the People" the organizers proclaim in their official document American Covenant.

I read the article about Obama's conversion and the words he used to launch his campaign. I also watched him declare that all options are on the table when it comes to Iran. Sir, that is disappointing, not that you would care about my views. I fall into a demographic that no one running for president cares about. (I am an atheist.) I am not sure whether you were pandering to a certain base, or you really believe what you said. Either way, sir, you do not have my honest vote anymore.
