Purposeless existence
Will we ever have the courage to face that?
Or will we for ever make up reasons
For propagating our lives

A circular concept at best
We persist to survive
For no reason
For that is an animal existence

We believe we are greater than other primates
Without reason
What other species has endangered themselves as we have now
War, religion, global warming to name a few

We are a disease that needs to be cured
A strange one though
We have the anecdote
But in our blind ignorance

we refuse to recognize that we need it.....
Have you ever felt
that you are spiralling into the future
So fast that the strands to the past are breaking
And bleeding in this moment

Have you ever wanted to scream
but are afraid that the words that come out
will offend people you love
and so you pretend not to care

Have you ever wanted to be angry
But could not
So you pretended to be placid
while you were not

And what did you achieve
A standing amongst your peers
Yet you look to the distant horizon
But were you ever there

Maybe you felt the need
To bridge the gap between
Who you are
And who you want to be

But were to afraid to try..

A plea for Darfur

A plea for Darfur, a Green Day video

How many times are we going to let this kind of crap happen.....have we learned nothing....over and over again....are we really that blind...

Harmony

As the man stands outside
Wathing the rain come down on a dark night
Listening to the slightly discordant sound
Not caused by the imperfection of nature's rythem
But by the imperfection of mans creations

One has to wonder
If the only time that man and existence are one
Is during the infant's first laugh
and in the instance of his last breath
There are no answers
Only questions

Perhaps we can confront them some day...
